Expand images with generative AI
Last updated on
Oct 14, 2024
Learn how to expand your image to fill in extra space with generated content that naturally blends with your existing image.
Try it in the app
Use any of your images and follow along to learn how to resize with generative AI.
Watch this video to learn how to expand an image.
-
Note:
- The image must span the page’s width or height.
- Expand works on a single page only. It cannot be applied to multiple pages in a file at once.
-
In the header, select Resize. If your image qualifies, Expand is enabled and checked by default in the Resize panel.
-
Select the page size you want your image to fit.
-
Select Resize to adjust the current page or Duplicate & Resize to keep the original and add a page with the new size.
-
Select an image from the Results or select Generate more to load additional options.
-
Once you’ve finalized an image, select Keep. Select Discard to go back to the Resize panel.
Note:
Expand is a Premium feature and consumes one generative credit. Learn more about generative credits.
