Learn how to modify images with the Transform tool.

The Transform tool lets you scale, rotate, skew, distort, and apply perspective adjustments to selected content. You can apply transformations to a selection, an entire layer, multiple layers, or a layer mask.

On the Photoshop on the web homepage, select Upload under Recommended features to browse for a file on your device.

Select Size & position > Transform  .

In the Size & position panel, select one of the following transform options:

  • Free transformAllows you to freely scale, rotate, skew, distort, and reposition the selected content.
  • Skew: Allows you to slant the selected content horizontally or vertically along an axis.
  • DistortAllows you to independently move corner handles to freely reshape the selected content.
  • PerspectiveAllows you to adjust the selected content to create or correct a perspective effect.

Adjust the Rotation value in the Size & position panel, if needed.

Drag the handles of the transform bounding box to preview and adjust the selected transformation.

Select Done to apply the transformation.

Tip

Use the Contextual task bar to quickly rotate or flip the selected content.
