Learn how to select objects with the Object selection tool.
Choose Select > Object selection .
Select the object on the canvas that you want to refine.
Note
The selected object is highlighted automatically.
In the Select panel, use Select more or Select less to add to or subtract from the current selection as necessary.
In the Contextual task bar, refine the selection using options such as Generative fill, Remove, Adjust, and more.
