The ability to move various elements in your images is one of the most basic yet important steps in image compositing. The Move tool helps you find the perfect position for your selections and layers when working on your images and creating composites in Photoshop on the web.

Let's take a look at how the Move tool can help you interact with elements of your image and move them around before seamless re-positioning:

  1. Select the Move tool   (V) from the Size and position nested tools in the toolbar.
