Learn how to paint within the boundaries of your drawings with Paint inside in Adobe Fresco.
Paint inside lets you effortlessly color your artwork by constraining strokes to boundaries.
Paint inside an area
-
-
Press and hold the Paint inside icon to change the Paint inside settings.
-
Toggle on Transparent areas only to paint any area with no content.
-
Use the Color margin and move the slider to adjust the boundary between the color and linework.
A higher number indicates a boundary closer to the lines. In comparison, a smaller number decreases and makes the boundary more separate.
You can use Paint inside directly on the line layer or with reference layers.
Reset Paint inside
You must reset the Paint inside settings if you've drawn other linework to fill with Paint inside turned on.
To reset Paint inside, toggle off the Paint inside icon to turn it off and toggle on the icon again to turn it back on.
