Apple ARM (M1, M2, and M3) support

Dimension supports Apple ARM (M1, M2, and M3) devices in emulation mode only. Emulation mode may impact the performance of the application.

We do not currently have a release date for native support.

Unsupported configurations

All

  • Remote desktop is not supported

Windows

  • Virtual machines are not supported.
  • Windows Server is not supported.

Mac

  • Only official Apple configurations are supported.
  • eGPUs are not currently supported and may have stability issues.

Supported GPU details

Please note that the above GPU requirements are general. Because of the vast amount of devices that exist, Adobe is unable to test all hardware. This specific list of hardware is added as we test specific devices while the above requirements are general.

Below is a list of the GPU models compatible with the application:

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 and above
  • NVIDIA Quadro P2200 and above
  • AMD Radeon RX 580 and above
  • AMD Radeon Pro 5300 M

GPU Rendering

GPU rendering is only available on Windows with NVIDIA graphics cards.

Tip:

If GPU ray tracing is not available on a supported NVIDIA card, first update the video card drivers.

For laptops which also include an integrated graphics card, use the NVIDIA Control Panel to set the preferred graphics card to the discrete card.

Below is a list of the GPU models that have been tested and explicitly do not work with Dimension GPU rendering

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

Minimum GPU Drivers Versions

Below is a list of the minimum GPU drivers version required for the application to run without issues. This list may be subject to changes as new versions release.
