| 3D text | A type of parametric model created with Dimension's text and extrusion engines. |
| Shapes | A type of parametric model created with Dimension's shape tools. |
| Group | An organizational helper object with no visual representation. |
| Material | Applied to surface objects like models and text to change the appearance of the object. |
| Camera | Used to capture views of the scene - simulates a physical camera lens and settings. |
| Environment | An object that represents the infinite space around the 3D scene that is used to edit the ground plane and add image-based lighting. |
