Better portrait mode

With the magic of AI-powered algorithms, Photoshop Camera can detect subjects in complex scenes and lighting conditions more accurately while capturing portraits.

Category filters and lens management

To capture portraits and other photos using Photoshop Camera, do the following:

  1. Launch the app to enter the viewfinder mode. By default, the in-app camera opens front-facing. 
  2. Double tap anywhere in the viewfinder mode or tap  to flip the camera.
  3. Tap the lens icon () to browse through the list downloaded lens effects. Tap a lens from the carousel to apply.
  4. Once you are happy with your settings and lens effects, tap the shutter icon to take your photo. Tap the cancel () icon to exit the applied lens.
  5. Tap the Photo Preview icon and find your photo under PsC Studio. The PsC Studio acts as a temporary workspace used to edit lens effects and share your photos.

Essential camera utilities

Follow these quick steps to access essential camera utilities before capturing a shot:

  1. Open Photoshop Camera app to enter viewfinder and point your camera to the subject you want to capture.
  2. In viewfinder, you can now enjoy essential camera features like Lens Switch and Timer for compatible Android devices to capture the perfect shot.
    1. Lens Switch: You can now switch to one of the available physical lenses in the camera. 
    2. Timer: You can now set a timer and adjust your subject accordingly before taking the perfect shot.

New lens effects

Photoshop Camera comes with an amazing collection of magical lenses to choose from. What is more exciting is that new capabilities have been added under the hood so that you can continue editing your photos with complex and interesting creative lenses. Keep checking weekly updates to the Lens Library as there’s always something new to discover.
