Last updated on 12 February 2026

Learn how to resolve error code 113 "Unable to reach Adobe servers" during app installation.

Error 113 occurs when the installer cannot connect to Adobe servers during the download or installation process. This issue is typically caused by unstable internet connectivity, network access issues, or changes to your system’s internet or security settings. Follow these steps in the given order.

Internet connection is unstable

A weak or inconsistent network connection can interrupt the installation process.

  • Make sure your device is connected to a stable network.
  • If you're on Wi-Fi, switch to a wired Ethernet connection.
  • If you're already using Ethernet, try a different cable or port.

Antivirus software is blocking the download

Some antivirus programs may incorrectly flag the installer as malware.

  • Update your antivirus software to the latest version.
  • If the issue continues, temporarily disable the antivirus during installation.
  • Check your antivirus provider’s instructions to safely turn it off and back on.
  • Re-enable it immediately after installation to maintain system protection.

Internet options are blocking the download (Windows only)

Changes to your system’s internet settings after installing an app can block installer communication with Adobe servers. To fix this issue, you can reset your internet settings to the system's default.

Open Search from the taskbar and type Internet Options.

Select the Advanced tab.

Select Restore advanced settings.

Restore Internet Options window
Selecting Apply will reset your internet settings to the system's default.

Select Apply, then OK.

Once you've completed the reset, try installing your Adobe app again.

Note

Restoring advanced settings will remove any previously applied custom configurations.

Software firewall has restricted access to your computer (Windows only)

Software firewalls can restrict internet access and prevent the installer from connecting.

  • If prompted, allow the Creative Cloud desktop app to access the Internet.
  • If not prompted, temporarily disable software firewalls to check if they're preventing internet access.
  • For help, refer to your firewall software documentation. Learn the best practices for configuring Windows Defender Firewall. Also, learn how to configure a firewall in macOS.
  • Re-enable the firewall after installation.
