Welcome screen and education role survey
What useful information does the education welcome screen have?
First-time Adobe Express for Education users will see a pop-up screen with relevant product information about features like simple video editing, ready-to-use templates, and animating a character with your voice.
What is the education role survey?
The education role survey is a pop-up screen that follows the welcome screen where users select their role, allowing them to have a personalized experience.
What are the differences in the first-time user experience on Adobe Express for Education?
After login, first-time users can view product details such as video editor, Animate from audio, and various educator-specific templates on the welcome screen. This relevant information will help the user pick the role they must choose in the education role survey.
Are welcome screen and education role surveys available in different languages?
Adobe Express is available in English, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Spanish, Japanese, German, French, Portuguese (Brazilian), Italian, Korean, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Welsh, and Finnish.
What are the differences between the Adobe Express for Education home experiences for students, educators, and those who select None of the above?
The user's home page experience will differ based on the role they select in the education role survey. The educator and student view is similar to ensure cohesion with the Adobe Express home experiences, but key differences include tasks, templates, and access to educator-specific tabs.
- A student can access student-specific tasks under Suggested tasks and Quick Actions. They won't be able to view Educator Resources or Educator Essentials tab.
- Educators can access educator-specific tasks under Suggested tasks and Educator Essentials like rubrics, report cards, worksheets, Quick Actions, and templates for educators.
- Users who select None of the above can access role-agnostic task lists and templates, Quick Actions, Educator Resources, and Educator Essentials.
How can I change my role or see another view?
Education users can switch between roles anytime. Go to Settings > Account > Customizations > Edit, and change your role selection.
What will be shown to verified teachers when they sign up for Adobe Express with a classroom account?
All education users who access Adobe Express for the first time will encounter the welcome screen and be prompted to select an account type, whether or not they were previously verified as a teacher or if they signed up through the self-service provisioning flow.
