Note

For longer operations and complex tasks, AI Assistant can continue working in the background while you keep working in Illustrator. For best results, avoid editing the same objects that AI Assistant is currently modifying.

Open the document you want to work on in Illustrator (Beta).

Select AI Assistant   in the Application Bar at the top of the workspace.

In the AI Assistant panel, select a suggested workflow starter such as Get Started, Organize, Bulk Edit, Export, or Review to automatically populate the prompt field with a suggested request.

You can also enter or edit your own prompt directly in the prompt field.

Review the generated prompt and modify it as needed to make the request more specific.

Press Enter (Windows) / Return (macOS) or select Send  .

Review the Assistant steps to understand how AI Assistant is approaching the task and why. If something doesn't match your intent, refine your prompt or provide additional instructions before continuing.

Depending on the task, AI Assistant may ask for additional information or confirmation before proceeding.

Tip

For larger operations, you can ask AI Assistant how it intends to complete the task before making any changes.

Provide feedback on Ai Assistant responses

After reviewing a response or completed task in the Ai Assistant panel, use the following options to provide feedback:

  • Like  : Select if AI Assistant understood your task, saved you time, or helped complete the task successfully.
  • Dislike  : Select if the response was incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or AI Assistant didn't accomplish the requested task.

After selecting an option, a feedback dialog opens where you can indicate whether AI Assistant:

  • Understood your question or task clearly
  • Saved you significant time
  • Handled repetitive work well
  • Is something you would use again on a real file

You can also provide additional comments and choose whether Adobe may contact you for follow-up feedback.
