Create sequences
To create a sequence:
Click the project bin icon. The Project Assets panel opens containing the media and audio clips used in the project.
In the Project Assets panel, browse and select the assets you want to import in the order in which you want them to appear in the timeline.
You cannot add sequences to a new sequence. Sequences in the Project Assets panel have the Sequence icon.
Click the New Sequence icon.
Type a name in the New Sequence dialog box and click Create.
Premiere Rush creates a new sequence and replaces the old sequence in the timeline. The old sequence is available in the Project Assets panel.
Duplicate sequences
Duplicating a project or sequence is useful when you want to edit the project but retain a copy of the original version.
To duplicate a sequence, do the following:
Open the project in Premiere Rush.
Click the project bin icon. The Project Assets panel opens containing the media and audio clips used in the project.
Find your sequence. The sequence has this Sequence icon.
A. Project bin B. Icon indicating that the clip is a sequence
Click the icon and choose Duplicate from the pop-up list. A copy of the sequence is created.
Click the icon on the copied sequence and choose Rename. Type a name and click Rename.
The sequence has been duplicated with a new name. You can now make changes to the sequence. You can now transform, color correct, cut, all the changes you want in this new project.
Duplicate projects (mobile and desktop)
You can duplicate any project with a single click from the project browser. This action duplicates the project as well as the media associated with it.
To duplicate a project, click the icon. Choose Duplicate. Type a name and click Duplicate.
The duplicated project’s media is stored only locally, by default.
