  1. On the Photoshop on the web homepage, under Start something new, select Upload an image and browse for a file on your device.

  2. Choose Select > Object selection .

    Note:
    • By default, Sample all layers is enabled to help make a selection based on all layers instead of only the currently active layer.
    • A pink overlay will appear on the canvas to highlight detected objects.
  3. Select the highlighted object that you’d like to adjust.

    Various tools associated with the Object selection tool are displayed. Contextual task bar showcasing options to Adjust and Remove object is highlighted.
    In the options bar, select the desired selection mode: Rectangle or Lasso.

  4. Select Adjust .

  5. From the Adjust menu, choose the desired preset for adjustments: Brightness/contrast, Hue/saturation, Exposure, Vibrance, Color balance, Black & white, Gaussian blur, Levels, and Curves.

    Tip:

    Select Revert in the Properties panel to remove a preset.

  6. Choose Select more or Select less to add to or subtract from your current selection as necessary. (Optional)

  7. Select Download.
