Change the country associated with your Adobe account

Learn how to change the country associated with your Adobe account when you move to another country.

Change the country when you don't have an active subscription

If you don't have an active subscription, you can change the country linked with your Adobe account when you subscribe to a new plan.

If you are buying directly from Adobe

  1. Sign in at the Creative Cloud plans page.

  2. Select Save now to purchase a subscription.

  3. Select a payment plan and then select Continue

  4. On the Enter payment info to start your subscription page, select a country or region from the drop-down menu.

    The field to select country or region does not appear if you select Paypal as your payment option.

    If you are unable to change the country, contact Adobe Customer Care

  5. In the This page is about to refresh prompt, select Change to [country name]

  6. On the payment page, enter the new billing details. The currency and tax details change according to the newly selected country.

  7. To complete your purchase with the updated country and address, follow the onscreen instructions.

    You have successfully changed the country associated with your Adobe account. 

If you are moving to or from a country served by Digital River

If you are a Digital River customer, the process is slightly different. Take these steps to change the country associated with your Adobe account. 

  1. In the Account information and access section, change your existing email address to a different but valid email address.

    You can also add a phone number and secondary email address for enhancing your account's security.

  2. As the original email address is free now, create a new Adobe account with this email address for your current country.

Change the country when you have an active subscription

If you have an active subscription (purchased either directly from Adobe or through Digital River), you can change the region from the bottom-left of your Adobe Account Overview page. Once you've changed your region, contact Adobe Customer Care to change the country associated with your Adobe account.
