Preflight profiles, fixups, and checks are now well-organized in Libraries. Libraries can be useful for getting customized profiles, checks, and corrections. They can be useful in the following ways:
You can create, edit, delete, import, and export preflight libraries using the Manage Libraries option.
Select See all tools > Use print production, then select Preflight from the left pane.
Select the Libraries drop-down list from the Preflight dialog box as shown:
Select Manage Libraries. The Manage Libraries dialog box is displayed with a list of default libraries.

Select See all tools > Use print production, then select Preflight from the left pane.
Select the Libraries drop-down list from the Preflight dialog box as shown:
Select Manage Libraries.
To add a new library, select the button.
The Preflight: New Library dialog box is displayed.

Specify a name and an appropriate description of the library.
Select the Color and the Initial set of Profiles for the library. The library can be locked to protect it from further changes if necessary.
To save the new library, select OK.
Select the Libraries drop-down list from the Preflight dialog box as shown:
Select the library of your choice.
Select the Libraries drop-down list from the Preflight dialog box.
Select Manage Libraries.
In the left pane, select Profiles.
Select a combination of libraries from the drop-down lists as shown:
Select to move a selected profile from one library to another.
Select Ok to confirm the changes made.
Similarly, you can modify or customize Checks and Fixups by selecting the required library from the left pane of the Preflight: Manage Libraries and repeating steps 4-6.
Preflight libraries can be shared with other users. To exchange a library, you have to package it for import and export. The package includes all profiles, checks, fixups, and properties for the selected library.
Select the Libraries drop-down list from the Preflight dialog box.
Select the library to be exported.
In the same Libraries drop-down list, select Export Library.
Specify the name and the location where the library is to be exported.
Select Save.
Select the Libraries drop-down list from the Preflight dialog box.
Select Import Library.
Locate the preflight library file (.kfp file) to be imported.
Select Open. The imported library is displayed in the Libraries drop-down list.
In the Preflight dialog, select the Search All Libraries.
Enter the search term into the Find field.
Preflight will search all libraries for profiles, checks, and fixups matching the entered term. You can view all the profiles if you don't use any search terms.
