Upgrade storage for Premiere Rush

Understand how storage works, and how to manage and upgrade storage.

All Premiere Rush plans come with cloud storage. This allows you to access your Premiere Rush projects on all your devices, so that you can create and share videos wherever you go. Continue reading to understand how you can upgrade and manage your storage.

How do I upgrade my storage?

If you are an individual customer, use the following table to understand how you can upgrade your storage.

If you are a Creative Cloud for enterprise or Creative Cloud for teams customer, contact your admin to make changes to your storage entitlements.

Go to Adobe's Account Management portal and switch to a plan that includes additional storage. For more information on switching your Premiere Rush plan, see Upgrade storage using Adobe's Account Management portal.

Upgrade storage if you purchased Premiere Rush from the Apple App Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, or Google Play Store

If you purchased Premiere Rush from the Apple App Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, or Google Play Store you can buy additional storage from Adobe.com.

When you're nearing the storage limit, you'll see an in-app notification that prompts you to upgrade storage.

You can then go to this link to upgrade your storage. In the screen that appears, enter your Adobe id, and click Continue to purchase additional storage.

If additional storage is not available for purchase in your country, contact us to buy additional storage.

Note:

Your Premiere Rush subscription will continue to be charged by Apple. However, you will automatically be charged monthly by Adobe for the additional storage you have purchased. Contact us if you have any questions about this purchase.

Upgrade storage using Adobe's Account Management portal

When you near the storage limit and are using Premiere Rush on desktop, there is an in-app notification that prompts you to upgrade storage. Click Upgrade in the in-app notification to purchase a plan with extra storage from Adobe.

If you are using Premiere Rush on mobile, go to the Account Management web portal, and upgrade storage.

  1. In the account management portal, go to Plans > Manage Plan > Change Plan.

    Here, you can upgrade your plan to:

    • A Premiere Rush plan with additional storage
    • Adobe Express plan (that includes Premiere Rush), with additional storage
    • A Premiere Pro plan (that includes Premiere Rush), with additional storage, or
    • A Creative Cloud All Apps plan with additional storage
  2. Click the < and > arrows to navigate to a plan of your choice.

  3. In the Storage drop-down list, select a storage option. 

  4. Change the billing details if applicable. 

    Your payment amount automatically updates depending on the plan and storage type.

  5. Click Select at the bottom of your plan.

    You are prompted to sign in again for your payment details. Click Confirm to confirm the payment.

How do I manage my cloud storage usage?

If you've reached your storage limit you can either upgrade your storage or change sync settings on older projects to free up space.

  1. From the Premiere Rush home screen, click the ••• button next to any one of your Premiere Rush projects that were created on that device.

  2. Select Turn Sync Off to remove the project from Creative Cloud, which will also remove the project from all other devices. You can turn syncing back on at any time.

    To permanently delete a project from Creative Cloud and all devices, click Delete everywhere. You cannot undo this action.
