Photoshop Express Workspace basics

Photoshop Express provides a dynamic user interface with different task-oriented workspaces. The workspaces are designed to support the following major workflows. The workspace in Photoshop Express gives you convenient access to your recently used files and editing photos. 

You'll land on the home screen when you open the Photoshop Express app. This space is organized to allow easy navigation to any of the workflows listed on top of the homepage. You can access all the app tools by swiping left or right to reveal all the workflows: Photo Editor, Face Retouch, Combine Photos, Collage, and Capture.

The app also brings the most recent photos from your camera roll into this home screen space. Select any image to bring it into any workflow.

You'll also see some of the most popular functions listed as Quick actions under your recent photos. This menu includes specific functions in each workflow. 

With the different workflows available on Photoshop Express, you can get creative, produce high-quality images, and easily share great-looking photos while learning new editing skills.

• In Photo Editor, apply Looks filters or isolate parts of an image for selective edits to lighting and color.​
  
• In Face Retouch, erase unwanted objects like ceiling lights or smaller objects like blemishes.​
  
• In Combine Photos, apply cut-out, combine elements from various images, and blend layers. 
• In Collage, apply auto cutouts, stickers, and backgrounds to create a digital collage or scrapbook. 
  
• In Capture, use AI-powered lenses to add face stickers or integrate the camera function to capture artistic photos.​

Home screen

Easily access to edit images, retouch, mix layers, quick actions, and more on the home screen of Photoshop Express. The home screen displays photos from your device's memory. Apply Quick actions to your photos, create collages, or create memes.

Photoshop Express consists of five workflows.

Gallery

All the photos from your device are shown in the gallery. You can use it to edit images, retouch images, mix layers, or create collages. Additionally, you can choose images from the displayed folders.

Quick actions

Adding a smile, applying makeup to replace the background, and more quick actions allow you to quickly accomplish a task with a pro touch.

Blank Canvas

Edit on various templates such as social media, digital ads, and more using Photoshop Express.

Themes for Collage

Create a visually appealing collage from various themes from birthdays, comics, and more.

Layouts for Collage

Arrange multiple images or pieces of art in a layout. Once you select the images, select from Freestyle, Grid, and Classic. Select See All to explore more layouts.

Choose from a collection of themes to make photos more impactful. Select See All to explore more themes.

Trending Memes

With Photoshop Express, you can use to create memes from images. Choose a trending meme and effortlessly apply it to your image. Select See All to explore more trending memes.
