The Adobe® LiveCycle® ES2 SP2 Rollup pack includes all previously released updates for the LiveCycle ES2 SP2 Server components detailed in the Issues addressed in the Rollup Pack section.
Install this Rollup Pack if you wish to bring your LiveCycle ES2 SP2 Server installation up-to-date with all the updates provided.

Prerequisites to installing the Rollup Pack
This Rollup pack must be installed on a system with LiveCycle ES2 SP2 (9.0.0.2).
The Rollup Pack can also be installed on a LiveCycle system with Quick Fixes (QF) installed over ES2 SP2. However, the Rollup Pack would abort if a higher QF is already applied to the system than those contained in the pack.
Installing and configuring the Rollup Pack

Stop the Application Server. Instructions provided in the Preparing to Install LiveCycle ES2 document.
Note:If you are installing the pack on a JBoss Application Server, you need to clean the JBoss Work and Temp directories.

Extract the 9.0.0-RUP-2.201_<Application Server>.zip / 9.0.0-RUP-2.201_<Application Server>.tar.gz archive file to your hard drive.

In the directory named according to the operating system that you are using:
- Windows
Navigate to the appropriate directory on the installation media or folder on your hard disk where you copied the installer, and double-click the install.exe file.- (Windows 32-bit) Disk1\InstData\Windows\VM
- (Windows 64-bit) Disk1\InstData\Windows_64bit\VM
- Linux, Solaris, AIX
Navigate to the appropriate directory, and from a command prompt, type ./install.bin.- (Linux) Disk1/InstData/Linux/NoVM

This launches an install wizard that guides you through the installation.

On the Introduction panel, click Next.

On the Choose Install Folder screen, verify that the default location displayed is correct for your existing installation, or click Browse to select the alternate folder where LiveCycle ES2 SP2 is currently installed, and click Next.

Read the Rollup Pack Summary information and click Next.

Read the Pre-Installation Summary information and click Install.

When the installation is complete, click Next to apply the Rollup pack updates to your
installed files.

The Start Configuration Manager checkbox is selected by default. Click Done to run the Configuration Manager.
To run Configuration Manager later, deselect the Start Configuration Manager option before you click Done. You can start Configuration Manager later using the appropriate script in the [LiveCycle root]/configurationManager/bin directory.

Follow the LCM wizard instructions and LiveCycle documentation to prepare the setup.
Choose an appropriate upgrade option, if applicable.

For a cluster installation of LiveCycle ES2 with Acrobat 9:

Replace the \Acrobat\plug_ins\PDFGen.api file with the newer file from \plugins\x86_win32.

Replace the .kfp files from \plugins\x86_win32 with the .kfp files in the \Acrobat\plug_ins\Preflight\ folder.
For LiveCycle ES2 with Acrobat X:

Replace the \Acrobat\plug_ins\PDFGen.api file with the newer file from \plugins\acrobat10\plugins\x86_win32.

Replace the .kfp files from \plugins\acrobat10\plugins\x86_win32 with the .kfp files in the \Acrobat\plug_ins\Preflight\ folder.

To revert your LiveCycle ES2 server installation to pre-Rollup Pack state
Perform the following tasks to revert your LiveCycle ES2 server installation to the pre-Rollup Pack state.

Access the
[LiveCycle ES2 root]\patch\9.0.0-RUP-2.201\FilesAddedDuringServicePack_RemoveOrReplaceToRevert.txt file and complete the following steps:- Delete the files and folder contents listed in FilesAddedDuringServicePack_RemoveOrReplaceToRevert.txt from your existing LiveCycle ES2 installation.
- Replace the folders listed in this file with the corresponding folders from the backup copy at [LiveCycle ES2 root]\patch\9.0.0-RUP-2.201\backup_9.0.0-RUP-2.201.

Replace the files in the following directories under [LiveCycle ES2 root] with files from the backup copy at [LiveCycle ES2 root]\patch\9.0.0-RUP-2.201\backup_9.0.0-RUP-2.201:
- configurationManager
- deploy
- lib
- LiveCycle_ES_SDK
- pdfg_srt
- plugins
Note:For more information, refer to the patch logs at [LiveCycle ES2 root]\patch\9.0.0-RUP-2.201\log.

After restoring the [LiveCycle ES2 root]\configurationManager directory, delete the EAR files in the [LiveCycle ES2 root]\configurationManager\export directory.

Restoring Licenses folder
- Delete all files in the folder [LiveCycle ES2 root]\licenses
- Copy all files from [LiveCycle ES2 root]\patch\9.0.0-RUP-2.201\backup_9.0.0-RUP-2.201\licenses to [LiveCycle ES2 root]\licenses

Remove the Sharepoint connector component:
Note:The following steps need to be performed only by users who have configured Sharepoint for the first time after installing the Rollup pack.

Connect to the server through the Workbench.

Open the Workbench Components view.
-
Stop ConnectorforMSSharepoint.
-
Uninstall the connector.
-
Close Workbench.
-

If you are installing the pack on JBoss application server:
-
Stop the JBoss Application server.
-
Clear the Work and Temp directories.
-
Restart the JBoss Application server
-

Run LiveCycle Configuration Manager.
-
(Optional) If you do not require the 9.0.0-RUP-2.201 patch files, delete the [LiveCycle ES2 root]\patch\9.0.0-RUP-2.201 directory.

When you try to validate configurations on the Verify Configuration screen, you may receive the following error message:
com.adobe.livecycle.cdv.CDVException The following ports required by JBOSS_FOR_ADOBE_LIVECYCLE_ES2 are still in use 8083, 1099, 1098. Another instance may be running or another application may be using some of the required ports
Resolution:

Open Windows Task Manager and then select the Java Process of JBoss server.
The Java Process of JBoss should be an instance of [LiveCycle root]\java\32bit\jdk1.6.0_14\bin\java.exe or [LiveCycle root]\java\jdk1.6.0_14\bin\java.exe.

Click End Task to kill Java Process of JBoss server.

On the Verify Configuration screen, click Validate Configurations.
The JBoss server will start without any errors.
