Set custom margins and bleed

Create print-ready designs with custom margins and bleed to ensure important content isn’t trimmed during printing and to use visual guides to position artwork accurately, making it ideal for complex or asymmetrical layouts.

Follow along with a file to learn how to set custom margins.

Open a design in Adobe Express.

Select File > Bleed and margins  .

Select Show margins to ensure important content isn't trimmed while printing, and Show bleed to prevent unwanted white edges on printed materials.

To customize margin and bleed, manually enter values for Top, Left, Bottom, and Right. Select the lock   icon to sync all margins.

Margins ensure important design elements aren't cut off during printing, and Bleed offers precision and flexibility to get print-ready designs.

Select Reset to restore the default settings, or select Apply to all pages to apply the settings across the entire design.
