Issue: Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps are listed as up-to-date when they aren't installed.
The Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app may list apps that are not actually installed as up to date. This behavior occurs when an Adobe app has been removed without the use of the normal installer. Try the solutions below to resolve the issue.
Solution 1: Run the uninstaller.
Run the uninstaller for the Adobe app that is listed as up to date.
- macOS: Run the app's uninstaller, in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.
- Windows: Use the Programs And Features Control Panel to remove the program listed as up-to-date.
Solution 2: Remove the OPM.db file and log in again.
Remove the OPM.db file and log in again to the Creative Cloud desktop app using the Adobe ID tied to your Creative Cloud subscription.
- macOS: Locate the OPM.db file in the \User\<user name>\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE folder. To access the hidden user Library folder, see Can't see user library files in Mac OS 10.7 and later.
- Windows: Locate the OPM.db file in the \Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder. To view the hidden AppData folder, see Show hidden files and folders in Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP.
