Adobe and Sri Lanka VAT laws

Adobe is applying Sri Lanka Value Added Tax (VAT) on electronic services (e-services) starting April 1, 2026. This tax applies to transactions in Sri Lanka by companies that supply e-services, including Adobe.

The standard VAT rate is 18%, but it may change.

For monthly and annual paid monthly plans, you are billed the VAT starting April 1, 2026. If you have an existing prepaid annual plan, the VAT applies when your plan renews.
