Choose Select > Quick selection.
In the Select panel, adjust the Brush size and Brush hardness settings as needed.
Drag across the area that you want to select.
The Quick selection tool automatically detects image edges as you drag, helping create an accurate selection.
In the Select panel, choose Select more to add to the current selection or Select less to remove areas from the current selection.
Under Advanced settings, adjust the following options as needed:
- Spacing: Controls the distance between the brush marks within a stroke.
- Angle: Specifies the angle by which an elliptical or sampled brush’s long axis is rotated from horizontal.
- Roundness: Specifies the ratio between the brush’s short and long axes.
Use the Contextual task bar to perform further edits on the selected area using options such as Generative fill, Remove, Adjust, and more.
