Lightroom presets are pre-defined settings that apply specific adjustments to your photos. You can choose the presets from Recommended, Premium, and Yours. These adjustments can include changes to exposure, contrast, saturation, color grading, and more.
Tips:

- By default, a thumbnail preview of presets is available when a photo is opened in the Detail view. To view presets in the list view, select > List.
- Select > Single-Group Mode to view the preset details of a single selected group. When Single-Group Mode is active, opening a group will close any other open group. When it’s off, you can open multiple groups at once. Selecting Collapse All Groups will close all open groups.
- You can select to mark a preset as a Favorites and access it more conveniently. The presets you mark as Favorites will be available in the Favorites group in the Yours tab, and the Favorites group will also be synced to Lightroom on mobile.
- Select the up-arrow and down-arrow keys on the keyboard to navigate through the presets.

- Recommended: These presets are automatically provided based on your photo, with the help of Adobe Sensei. The results can change with time, even for the same image. Use the given carousel options, such as Subtle, Strong, B&W, and more, to filter these presets easily.
- Premium: These presets include categories like Travel, Cinematic, Adaptive Presets (Portraits, Subject, Sky, and Blur Background), Seasonal, and subject-wise presets.
- Yours: These are all the presets you've created or saved and all the default presets included with Lightroom.

Preset Amount Slider Note:- Partially compatible presets are included in the panel.
- In Recommended Presets, hover over the preset thumbnail and select More like this to view more similar presets. You can also select the three-dot icon in the thumbnail to view who the preset is from, follow the author, save the preset, or create an edited Version.
Create a User Preset in Lightroom

In the Presets panel, select and choose Create Preset from the pop-up menu.

In the New Preset dialog that appears, specify a name for your preset. Select Save.
The saved preset is added to the list of User Presets in the Presets panel.

The current edit settings of the image is saved as a User Preset.
Update a User preset in Lightroom

In the Presets panel, expand the User Presets group.

Select a user preset to apply it on the photo and then modify the edit settings (in the Edit panel) as required.

Now, right-click the user preset and select Update With Current Settings option in the pop-up menu.

Open an album in the Grid view and select Presets .

Select all the photos to which you wish to apply a preset, and then select the desired preset from the menu.

In the Apply Preset dialog box, select Apply.
Export Presets in Lightroom

Select or press Shift+P, select Premium or Yours tab.

Right-click the preset that you wish to export and then select Export.

Select the location where you want to export the preset. Your preset will be exported as an XMP file.
Delete a User Preset in Lightroom

In the Detail view, select .

In the Presets panel, right-click a user preset and choose Delete from the pop-up menu.

In the Delete Preset dialog, select Delete to confirm the action. Otherwise, select Cancel.
Manage Presets in Lightroom
Lightroom allows you to show or hide various preset groups displayed in the Presets panel.
Note:
Your settings to show or hide preset groups are specific to each computer or device. For example, you can hide some preset groups on Lightroom desktop, but they will still be visible in Lightroom on your mobile device and vice versa.

In the Detail view, select .

In the Presets panel, select the Options and choose Manage Presets from the pop-up menu.

Under Manage, select the preset groups that you want to show in the Presets panel. Deselect the preset groups that you want to hide from the Presets panel.

Select Back to navigate back to the Presets panel.
