Magic Wand tool | Quick select objects

Use the Magic Wand tool to select specific sections of your Fresco artwork quickly.

Like in Photoshop and Illustrator, the Magic Wand tool is one of Fresco's handy selection tools. It helps you automatically select areas that are similar in tone and color.

For example, the Magic Wand tool helps you isolate and edit specific objects like the pink flowers from the other objects in the image below.

What can you select with the Magic Wand tool

You can select both pixel and vector layers with the Magic Wand tool.

If you work on artwork with both vector and pixel layers, your selection will not appear on the vector layer. However, if you make a Magic Wand selection on a vector layer, you will be able to view your selection on the pixel layer.
