Edit properties of images added to the timeline in a few simple steps.
With Firefly video editor (beta), if you select an image in the timeline, a set of editable options appears in the Properties panel. These tools let you adjust everything from the image's dimensions and placement to transparency and angle. These controls are designed to give you precise command over how your image is reflected in the composition.
Before you begin
The Properties panel is enabled and displays the following adjustable properties:
- Flip horizontal: Mirror the image from left to right.
- Flip vertical: Turn the image upside down, flipping it from top to bottom.
- Rotate clockwise: Rotate the image 90° clockwise with each click.
- Align: Snap the image to the center or edges of the frame for precise positioning.
- Position: Move the image horizontally or vertically within the frame.
- Scale: Adjust the image size, making it larger or smaller.
- Rotate: Rotate the image freely to any angle.
- Opacity: Control the transparency level of the image, from fully visible to fully transparent.
As you adjust the properties, you can see the changes in the preview.
