When a Lead is converted to another object type, the object number changes, and related objects can get orphaned in the system. Lead conversion settings allow you to retain the relationship between agreements and objects that have converted from Lead to Account, Contact, or Opportunity.
To enable Lead conversion:
- Navigate to Setup > Platform Tools > Custom Code > Custom Settings
- This loads the Custom Settings page
- Click the label Adobe Sign Lead Conversion Settings
- The Adobe Sign Lead Conversion Settings page will load
3. Click the Manage button
4. Click New
5. Select the conversion options you want to persist, and click Save
- Account Retain Agreement—Selecting this option will retain the Lead’s agreements when it is converted to an Account.
- Contact Retain Agreement—Selecting this option will retain the Lead’s agreements when it is converted to a Contact.
- Opportunity Retain Agreement—Selecting this option will retain the Lead’s agreements when it is converted to an Opportunity.
