Orient curve
In: Substance Model graph/Modification
Simple
Description
The Orient curve node modifies the orientation of a curve's vertices – i.e. the arrangement of their normal, tangent and bitangent unit vectors – according to a defined orientation policy. For instance, this node can let you easily invert the direction of a curve.
Parameters
- Curves to orient Scene
The input scene holding the curves which orientation should be modified. Basis
- Basis Scene
The scene holding the reference Basis to be used. - Axis mode Integer
The arrangement of the axis in the reference Basis.
- Basis Scene
- Orientation policy Integer
The applied rule for orienting the curves. The following options are available:- Mostly along: Orient the normal to the interpolated local normal and the tangent in the direction of the curves;
- Local curve tangent along: Orient the normal to the interpolated local tangent;
- Local curve normal along: Orient the normal to the interpolated local normal;
- Local curve bitangent along: Orient the normal to the interpolated local bitangent.
- Invert Boolean
Invert the X and Z axes, i.e. the direction of the curves.
