Description

The Particles node generates one or more particles. You may generate multiple particles as a grid.

Parameters

  • Basis
    • Basis Scene
The Scene holding the reference Basis to be used
    • Basis mode Integer
The arrangement of the axis in the reference Basis
  • Generation method Integer
The method of generating and placing particles:
    • Single: one particle is generated
    • Grid array: one or more particles are generated and arranged as a grid
  • Translation Vector3
Specifies the offset of the generated particle(s) from the Basis origin
  • Particle scale attribute Vector3
Specifies the scale attribute of the generated particle(s) on each axis. This impacts the particle local space and is used to scale objects spawned from a particle
  • Grid parameters
    • Amount in X/Y/Z Integer
The number of cells on each dimension of the grid
Note: These parameters are only available when the Generation method parameter is set to Grid array
    • Spacing Vector3
The cell width on each dimension of the grid. Given that particles are placed on the center of a grid's cell, this effectively controls the spacing between particles
Note: These parameters are only available when the Generation method parameter is set to Grid array
