Captivate (2017 release) users
The 2017 release of Captivate is not supported on macOS 10.15 Catalina. If you are using Captivate (2017 release), you must upgrade to Captivate (2019 release). The upgrade instructions are in this document.
If you still want to continue using Captivate (2017 release), you must downgrade to a supported version of macOS.

What's new in this update
Adobe Captivate (2019 release) Update 4 includes platform support for macOS Catalina 10.15.
System requirements

If you have purchased an upgrade to Captivate (2019 release) from Captivate (2017 release), and you want to install the latest update, the upgrade serial number is no longer valid.
To get the new serial number, contact Captivate support.
Download Captivate
Download Captivate from the downloads page.
Install from dmg file
If you do not already have a Captivate installed in your system, go to your Adobe product page, and download Captivate (2019 release) Update 4.

To start installing Captivate, click Install.

After you cick Install, a pop-up appears that prompts you to click Open and proceed further. Click Open.

Choose the options and to proceed, click Continue.

To launch Captivate, click Launch.
Update to the latest version
Ensure that Captivate 11.0.0.243 or 11.0.1.266 or 11.5.0.476 or 11.5.1.499 build version is already installed.

Open Adobe Captivate, and choose Help > Check for Updates. The Adobe Captivate Updater appears.

After clicking Update Now, the update starts to install.

When the installation is complete, you can see the Update Complete dialog.

Click Close or to start Adobe Captivate, click Launch.

On the toolbar, click Help > About Adobe Captivate.
Known issues in this update
- In macOS 10.15 , for AME round-tripping to work from Captivate , launch AME from outside Captivate for the first time, and then round-trip with AME from within Captivate.
- In macOS 10.15, when you sign in with your Adobe credentials, you may have to sign in again to access services, for example, Adobe Stock or Community.
