Forgot your Adobe password?

You can easily reset or change your Adobe password in a few simple steps. 

Note:

Your password is case-sensitive. So, be sure to type uppercase and lowercase letters carefully.

Forgot your Adobe account email address?

If you enter a wrong email address, you might get the error "We couldn't find an account with that email address." If that happens, select Get help signing in, a new window will open, here, select Find your account. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to recover your email address.

Receiving verification codes on your old phone number?

If you can't access your old phone number, select Use another method to receive the code in the sign-in screen. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to send the code to your Adobe account email address. Once you receive the code in your email, enter your Adobe account password in the sign-in screen to access your account. Note that you'll still need access to your email and password to sign in to your account.

Forgot Adobe password and can't access other authentication methods?

If you enabled two-step verification for your account and have forgotten your password, you need access to at least two of the following to retrieve it:

  • Email address linked to your Adobe account
  • Mobile phone number linked to your Adobe account
  • The Adobe Account Access app

If you don’t have access to at least two of these options, you won't be able to access your account. We recommend that you create a new account.

Recently created your Adobe account and made a typo in the email address?

If you entered the wrong Adobe account email address, you'll receive an error message stating, "We don't have an account with that email address." when trying to sign in.

  1. Select Get help signing in > Find your account on the sign-in screen.

  2. Select Find your account.

  3. Type the registered email address or phone number that you may have previously used.

We suggest the closest match to your email address or phone number entered. Use it to access your account.

Already signed in to the Creative Cloud desktop app but made a typo in the email address?

  1. Select the   icon in your taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (macOS) to open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

  2. Select the Account icon in the upper right corner, and then select Adobe Account.

  3. Select Account and security > Account

  4. In the Account information and access section, select Change next to Primary email (Adobe ID).

  5. Type the email address you want to use for your Adobe account. Then, select Change to update your Primary email (Adobe ID).
