Issues fixed in the QF

  • Access denied error is returned when logging into HTML workspace. (Ref# LC-3913266)

Prerequisites to installing the QF

  • Adobe LiveCycle ES4 SP1 (11.0.1)

Installing and configuring the QF

  1. Go to Package Manager at http://[server_name]:[port]/lc/crx/packmgr, where server_name and port refer to the server name and port for the LiveCycle ES4 SP1 installation.
  2. Log in with administrator credentials. The default username/password is admin/admin.
  3. Select the livecycle-embed-pkg-<version>.zip and click Download.Save the package at a backup location. It is required if you decide to uninstall the QF.
  4. Click Upload package. In the Upload Package dialog, browse to select the livecycle-embed-pkg-1.0.4.zip package, enable Force Upload, and click OK.
  5. Select the LiveCycle embed package and click Update.
  6. Go to http://[server_name]:[port]/lc/system/console/slingauth and check if Adobe LiveCycle Authentication Handler is listed as Registered Authentication Handler.
  7. Restart the server.

Uninstalling the QF

  1. Go to http://[server_name]:[port]/lc/crx/packmgr, where server_name and port refer to the server name and port for the LiveCycle ES4 SP1 installation.
  2. Log in with administrator credentials. The default username/password is admin/admin.
  3. Select the livecycle-embed-pkg-1.0.4.zip package, click More, and click Uninstall
  4. Select the livecycle-embed-pkg-1.0.4.zip package, click More, and click Delete.
  5. Click Upload package, and browse to upload the old livecycle-embed-pkg-<version>.zip package of which you took a backup before updating the package.
  6. Select the uploaded livecycle-embed-pkg-<version>.zip, and click Install.
