Download the required Spelling or Hyphenation dictionary. The downloaded file has an oxt extension (when downloaded from OpenOffice site). If you download it from a site other than OpenOffice, the extension can be different.

Support for Hunspell dictionaries in InDesign expands language options for spell-checking and hyphenation. Over 90 language dictionaries are available at Open Office and other sources. You can easily download and integrate your preferred language dictionaries into your product.
You can download Hunspell dictionaries from Open Office dictionaries or Mozilla Firefox dictionaries.
Note:
Adobe recommends that you don't replace existing hyphenation or spelling dictionaries. If you replace existing hyphenation dictionaries, line breaks in the existing documents can change according to the new hyphenation dictionaries when you re-edit the document. Similarly, replacing existing spelling dictionaries with new ones and spell-checking existing documents could show different results and suggestions.
If you must replace existing dictionaries, back up the existing files to revert to the original dictionaries, if necessary.
Add a Hunspell dictionary

Change the filename extension to zip. For example, rename xyz.ext to anyname.zip.

Extract the contents of the zip archive to a folder and locate an affix (.aff) file, a spelling dictionary (.dic) file or a hyphenation dictionary (.dic) file. Rename these files using the language ISO codes as given in the table below.
Language ISO codes are of the form: <ISO 639-1 language codes in lowercase>_<CountryCode in uppercase>. For example, English (United States) is en_US.

Remove a Hunspell dictionary

For removing a Hunspell dictionary from InDesign, go to the folder with name <language ISO Code> in the Dictionaries Folder. Delete the .aff file, spelling dictionary and hyphenation dictionary. The names of these files are listed below.
