Easily remove unwanted objects and distractions in a photo with the Generative Remove, powered by Adobe Firefly generative AI. Once you identify and highlight an object using the brush mask, Adobe Firefly automatically removes it and generates a fill that blends with the rest of the frame.
Select the Remove tool to access Generative AI and Object Aware options. The Generative Remove feature is available as Early Access across all Lightroom surfaces.

The Heal tool in Lightroom has been renamed as the Remove tool. You can access the Remove, Heal, and Clone tools when you select the Remove tool.
Previously available as Early access, the AI-powered Lens Blur tool is now ready for general availability with enhanced features and improvements. Quickly add aesthetic blur and bokeh effects to your photos and achieve a professional look by using adaptive presets, shipping with the May 2024 release of Lightroom Classic. You can also batch copy-paste Lens Blur settings to achieve a consistent look.

Lightroom Classic now supports tethered capture for Sony cameras. You can capture photos and change camera settings right from Lightroom Classic. From the floating tether bar, you can seamlessly work on live sessions, apply presets, and control the tethered camera's Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, and White Balance.

You can now filter your photos based on whether they are exported or not exported. Create a Smart Collection, filter with Exported status and other metadata. You can also use the Library Filter panel under Attribute to filter out the exported photos. Lightroom Classic records the last export date of an image, which can be viewed in the image's metadata, and you can choose to reset the export status of an image as well.
