Adobe Connect 9.4.2 is a maintenance release and is available as a patch. It delivers fixes to several customer issues and bugs related to security.
Release rollout plan
Adobe Connect 9.4.2 is rolled out in the following phases:
- On-Premise: Patch availability, in all supported locales, for customer premise deployments. Starts May 25, 2015.
- Hosted: Updated service by Adobe. Starts May 10, 2015.
- Managed Services: For the Adobe managed customer-specific cloud deployment of Adobe Connect the update can be scheduled based on customer requirement. Reach out to your Adobe Connect managed services representative to schedule your update.

Adobe Connect server upgrade path for on-premise deployments
The following are the prerequisites before you can upgrade to this release:
- From Adobe Connect 8.x, upgrade to Adobe Connect 9.4 before applying this patch.
- From Adobe Connect 9.0.x, update to Adobe Connect 9.4 before applying this patch.
