Typing lag in code view

Typing lag occurs in code view when temporary files in the registry editor are overloaded. 

How to fix this issue?

  1. Quit the Dreamweaver application and press Windows + R on your keyboard.

  2. Type regedit and click OK.

  3. To view the temporary files, follow the given path:

    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver 2020\Temp File List

  4. To back up the temporary files, right click the Temp File List and click Export.

  5. Delete the Temp File List folder and open Dreamweaver.
