Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. Type services.msc and press Enter.
Acrobat repeatedly prompts you to sign in even if you could sign in using your Adobe ID successfully in earlier sessions. To fix the issue, try the solutions in the order they appear below.
Solution 1: Update the Creative Cloud desktop app
Update your Creative Cloud desktop app to the latest version (5.4 or higher). To check the app version, launch the Creative Cloud desktop app, and then select Help > About Creative Cloud. If you're using an older version of the Creative Cloud desktop app, the app prompts you to update on launch. To download and install the latest version, click Update and then relaunch the app.
Solution 2: Update your Windows 10 to the latest version
Applicable to Windows 10 users
After installing Windows 10 (Version 2004 Build 19041.173) and related updates, few applications no longer remember your password. Update Windows to the latest build or follow the workaround provided by Microsoft here.
Solution 3: Enable the Windows Credential Manager service
Windows Credential Manager manages your credentials for signing in to websites, connected applications, and networks. Follow the steps below to enable the corresponding service.

The Services window is displayed.

From the list of services, select Credential Manager, and then click Start the service.

Close the Services window - click the cross button at the upper-right corner of the window.
Solution 4: Add the Acrobat executable files in the allow-list of your antivirus software
Antivirus software can interfere or block the Acrobat executable files like Acrobat.exe, acrotray.exe, acrodist.exe, and more. These executable files reside in the Acrobat folder. Add the executable files path or the Acrobat folder path to the exception list of your antivirus software.

The steps below explain how to add exceptions to Avast antivirus software. If you are using different antivirus software, follow the instructions on the respective website, and add the Acrobat executable files to the exception list accordingly.

Open Avast antivirus. Click Menu and then click Settings.

Click General > Exceptions, and then click Add Exception.

Add the path of the three Acrobat executable files, or the Acrobat folder as below:
- Acrobat executable files path:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrodist.exe
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\acrotray.exe
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe
- Acrobat folder path:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\
- Acrobat executable files path:

Click Add Exception.
