Download and share work online

Share your downloaded files online using Adobe Content Authenticity (Beta).

When you apply Content Credentials to your work, four things happen:

  • Content Credentials are attached directly to your content files.
  • An invisible watermark is applied to your content, making your Content Credentials readable by the Adobe Content Authenticity (Beta) Chrome browser extension, even on websites that don’t yet support Content Credentials.
  • Your content is digitally fingerprinted, with a small thumbnail stored in Adobe’s public Content Credentials cloud. This ensures that your Content Credentials can be recovered if they are removed or if your content is captured in a screenshot.
  • The newly signed versions of your files are downloaded to your device and are ready to be shared online. Share these versions to access or recover the associated Content Credentials later.

Your files are not stored in Content Authenticity and are unavailable to download after you leave the Apply window.
