Change the language of your Creative Cloud apps

Learn how to change the default language for installing Creative Cloud apps. Once set, you can uninstall and reinstall any existing installations.

How to change the language settings of Creative Cloud apps

You can change the default language for future installs of your Creative Cloud apps. You must reinstall any existing apps to benefit from this change. 

For macOS 10.7 to 10.11, Windows 7 or 8

  1. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app. (Click the  icon in your Windows taskbar or the macOS menu bar.)

  2. Click the three vertical dots icon  in the upper-right corner and choose Preferences.

  3. Choose Creative Cloud > Apps.

  4. Select a language from the App Language list and exit Preferences (click the left arrow next to Preferences).

    All apps that you download after making this change installs in the new language.

  5. To apply the language change to an app that you have already installed on your computer, uninstall and reinstall the app. 

For macOS 10.6, Windows Vista, or earlier

If you're running an earlier operating system, use the Adobe Application Manager to change the language used in your apps.

Change language settings using Adobe Application Manager

  1. Launch the Adobe Application Manager as follows:

    Windows: Choose Start > All Programs > Adobe Application Manager.

    macOS: Choose Applications > Adobe Application Manager.

  2. Click your name in the upper-left corner and select Preferences.

  3. Select a language and click Save.
