Learn to share images using the Slack for Photoshop plugin

Quickly send your work directly to Slack without leaving Photoshop using the Slack for Photoshop plugin.

Signing in

Sign into your Slack workspace by clicking the blue Sign In button and then following the instructions that appear in your browser.

Sharing to Slack

Once signed in, click Get started in the Slack for Photoshop panel to begin the export process. The plugin will take a snapshot of your entire document to share. 

If you'd like to change which image is captured and shared; click Cancel, adjust your document as needed by hiding or showing appropriate layers and click Get started again.

Sharing Options

When sharing images using the Slack for Photoshop panel, you can adjust:

  • File type: Choose from either JPG, PNG, or GIF
  • Size: Choose if your image exports at 1x or 100% size, or 2x or 200% size
  • Share with: Share your image with individual direct messages or groups, existing channels, or create a new channel
  • Type here: Include a message with your image

Once you've setup your sharing options, you're ready to post! Click the Post button to send your image to Slack directly from Photoshop.
