Learn how to create images in different styles.

Try it in the app
Create images from a text description in a few simple steps.

  1. On the Adobe Firefly website homepage, select Text to image.

  2. Enter a text prompt and select Generate.

  3. In the Styles section, use the Visual intensity slider to modify the intensity of the photo's visual attributes.

    Note:
    • For Content Type set as Photo, use the slider to adjust the image from realistic to surrealistic.
    • For Content Type set as Art, use the slider to transform the photo from digital art to a more illustrative style.
  4. Use the Strength slider to control the adherence to the reference image when generating the image variations. 

  5. Under Reference, select Upload image and browse for an image on your device.

    An example of how you can use the Reference feature to use text prompts combined with reference images to generate variations.
    Change the style of your images or use the same style for a set of images.

  6. Under the Effects section, browse through the categories to identify the effects to be applied.

    Tip:

    As you apply the effects, they will be displayed in the Prompt field. You can either use the Clear option to remove all effects at once or remove them individually.

  7. Select Generate.
