Add new elements to your images non-destructively using simple text prompts.

Try it in the app
Use Generative fill to add generated objects to your images in no time.

  1. Select Generative fill on the Firefly website.

  2. Upload an image or select a sample asset from the gallery.

  3. Select Insert and brush over the area or object you’d like to adjust.

The image shows a red vintage car driving along a road in a desert landscape. The scene features orange-hued sand dunes under a hazy sky, with the sun low on the horizon, suggesting either sunrise or sunset. There is an empty space being prepared to add new elements using Firefly.
The brush tool allows you to flexibly add new elements anywhere on the uploaded image.

  4. Add a detailed description to the Prompt field explaining what you want to add or replace, and then select Generate. If you leave the description blank, the brushed area will be filled based on the surroundings.

  5. Choose an image from the generated results or select More to generate new variations.

  6. Select Keep to continue with the selected image, or select Cancel to discard the variations.

A classic red car with large chrome engine parts and tailfins drives on a desert road under a clear blue sky. Two futuristic flying vehicles hover above, and several figures on hoverbikes follow behind.
Browse through the generated options to select the one that best matches your vision.

  7. After the image is ready, select Share to copy your image or open it in Adobe Express for further editing, or select Download to save the image locally with content credentials added automatically.

Note:

To provide feedback on the quality and accuracy of a variation or report it for being problematic or offensive, select the  icon on a variation and then rate or report the content.
