Learn how to reset a forgotten password or change your existing password.

Reset forgotten password

  1. Select Get help signing in

    The Adobe account sign in page with option to sign in with your email address, your social accounts, create an account,  or get help with signing in.
    This initiates the process of resetting your password.

  2. Select Reset your password.

    If you don't remember your email account or Adobe ID, select Find your account.

  3. Enter your email address and select Continue.

    You are now prompted to verify your identity.

  4. Enter the code sent to your email address.

    The Verify your identity window with field to enter the email verification code or select Resend code if you do not receive the code.
    Select Resend Code if you didn't receive the verification code on your email address.

    Note:

    If you have added a phone number and enabled two-step authentication, you'll receive a code on your phone number as well to verify your identity. 

  5. In the Update your password screen, enter your new password twice to confirm, then select Update password.

    Select Sign out of all active logins for signing out from your Adobe account on all devices.

    You've successfully updated your password.

Can't find an email containing the code?

If you can't find the email from Adobe in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If you still can't find it, see Didn't receive expected email from Adobe.

Change existing password

To ensure the security of your account and data, it is a good idea to periodically change your account password.

  1. In the Password section, select Change.

    The Sign-in and security page showing options to change password.
    On the Sign-in and security page, you can also perform tasks such as adding a passkey, turning on or off two-step verification, and connecting your social accounts with your Adobe account.

  2. In the Verify your identity window, enter your current password in the provided space and select Continue

  3. In the Update your password window, enter your new password twice to confirm, and then select Update Password.

    Select Sign out of all active logins for signing out from your Adobe account on all devices.
