Acrobat compatibility with the new macOS Mojave 10.14
Both Acrobat and Acrobat 2017 are compatible with the new macOS Mojave (10.14). Below are a few known issues. Adobe is trying to fix these issues in a future release.
Known Issues
Printing
- Save As Adobe PDF throws an error to enable third-party action [ADC-4255082]. For more information and workaround, see Error in saving as Adobe PDF | macOS Mojave 10.14.
- The print preview may not be visible in Acrobat print dialog (File > Print) [ADC-4254093].
Office PDFMaker
- Unsupported file type error is displayed when you convert any word document, powerpoint, or excel file [ADC-4254852]. For more information and workaround, see Convert to PDF failed due to Apple Event restrictions | macOS Mojave 10.14.
Portfolio
- Unable to create PDF from a file in a portfolio. No grant permission dialog is displayed [ADC-4258939]. For more information and workaround, see Convert to PDF failed due to Apple Event restrictions | macOS Mojave 10.14.
Web Capture
- Firefox web capture does not work if the user has selected "Don't Allow" in permissions dialog [ADC-4254844]. For more information and workaround, see Convert to PDF failed due to Apple Event restrictions | macOS Mojave 10.14.
