Subscriptions

When does the subscription begin?

Your subscription begins as soon as we process your payment. In the case of a free trial, your subscription begins after your free trial ends, unless you cancel.

How do I renew my subscription?

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period unless you cancel.

Is the price the same throughout the subscription period?

Yes, the price remains fixed throughout the subscription period. Prices may change, but only on renewal, and we will always inform you beforehand.

Cancellation of subscriptions

Do I get a refund if I cancel?

A refund depends on when you cancel and the type of subscription you purchased. For most plans, you get a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase.

Timeline showing subscription refund eligibility: full refund within 14 days of purchase, no refund after 14 days or after renewal, with a cancellation fee possibly applying in both cases.
Refund eligibility ends after 14 days, and a cancellation fee may apply after that.

What happens if I cancel after 14 days?

If you purchased directly from Adobe and canceled more than 14 days after your initial purchase, your payment is non-refundable and may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Annual, billed monthly plan: Your purchase of a yearly subscription comes with a significant discount. Therefore, a cancellation fee applies if you cancel before the year ends. If you choose to cancel after 14 days, a cancellation fee of 30% of the annual commitment may apply. Your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.
  • Annual, prepaid plan: Your purchase of a yearly subscription comes with a significant discount. Therefore, after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable, and your service will continue until the end of your contracted term.
  • Monthly plan with no annual commitment: After 14 days, your payment is non-refundable, and your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.

If you purchased your Adobe apps through a third-party reseller or mobile app store, the third-party reseller or mobile app store terms will apply.

What happens to my files if I cancel?

For individual plans, if you decide to cancel your paid subscription, you'll lose access to premium applications and services included in your paid subscription, and your account will be converted to a free Creative Cloud membership.

A Creative Cloud free membership lets you continue to access your files in the Creative Cloud folder on your computer and via the Creative Cloud website. If you've exceeded the storage limit for your Creative Cloud free membership, you'll have 30 days to move the excess files. You'll be unable to store any additional files until you reduce your storage.

With a Creative Cloud free membership, you can log in to your Creative Cloud desktop app with the same Adobe ID and password and access all the features listed in What do I get with my Creative Cloud free membership?
